The whole purpose of Proverbs is to instill wisdom into the lives of those who read it. The simple are to gain knowledge, the scoffer is to turn from his bitter ways, and the sage is to continue to gain more wisdom.
We should each value, the imparting of wisdom from God. We should each see the value, whether we fully understand the value, and pursue wisdom.
