In our study of the People of Proverbs, we have already looked at the scorner and the simple, who both act the fool. Today we will look at the Sage who lives in a wise manner.
Proverbs must be placed into the broader context of Scripture. Proverbs does demonstrate how a disciple of God should walk in this world. The behavior of a sage, or wise person is patterned after the walk of our Savior, who is all-knowing and all-wise.
