The Book of Titus is called a Pastoral Epistle, since Paul wrote it to Titus, the pastor of Crete. Paul calls Titus, “a true son” indicting that Paul led him to the Lord himself, most likely during his first missionary journey. Although there is no mention of Titus in the Book of Acts, he is mentioned nine times as a companion and fellow laborer in the Book of Second Corinthians.
