Titus 2:11-15
Living By Grace

We often use the phrase living by faith, which means we live in a state of trust and dependence on God.  Often it means we live in a state of not understanding or knowing why or what God’s purpose are, as we consistently depend upon Him.

We don’t however use the phrase living by grace.  But, as we will see from this section of Titus, that is exactly how we are able to live by faith.  Grace is often described as God giving us favor that we do not deserve.  We have not earned His favor, yet God chooses to give us incredible blessings from salvation to sustenance.  Christians that live in a state of grace are people who demonstrate that God, in His goodness, shows favor to wicked and unworthy sinners.
