Chapter three is really one long section, but we will break it into two sections of study. The chapter gives a wonderful balance of faith with action. Much like the commands of James 3 concerning our faith and our works, Titus makes a clear statement of salvation by grace alone, through Jesus Christ, but then distinguishes that genuine faith in God is a working faith. We don’t earn our salvation, but we can display our salvation in our obedience to our Savior.
