We ended last week in Nehemiah 6:14 after looking at six different spiritual attacks on Nehemiah and the people of Jerusalem. However, more attacks persisted even after the people responded with obedience to God. We will see these attacks continue, however, chapter 6:15-16 give us the purpose of the book. This highpoint, where the wall is completed and God’s name is exalted become the pivot point of spiritual resolve.
