Today I am going to preach a sermon on a very minor doctrine. Ultimately, I am laying the ground work concerning Heaven and Hell, but the doctrine of Paradise, or Abraham’s Bosom is a very minor reference in Scripture. Paradise is used multiple times in the Old and New Testament and the term Abraham’s Bosom, from Luke 16 is synonymous with it. However, we do a disservice to the Bible when we try to build a dogmatic doctrine or teaching off one or two vague passages. So, please understand today’s teaching on Paradise, must be viewed through the clearly and more numerous passages on the doctrines of Heaven and Hell.
