We are now digging deeper into the meaning of being a disciple of Christ. The character, influence, and righteousness of a disciple have all been clearly laid out, and now Jesus goes deep into the command center of the disciple. The headwaters of the disciple’s actions comes from the deep fountain of his heart. Jesus has already introduced that thought, and in this passage, He will explain it in undeniable terms.
