We have seen the disciple’s heart on display in the beatitudes laid out in Matthew 5:1-12. In verses 13-16 we say the disciple’s influence in the world around them. The disciple should be salt and light to the world, making an impact as they carry the Gospel to those in darkness. Now, we will see the righteousness of a disciple and how it is their duty to be honest in our message.
