Jacob Perry

Pastor Jacob Perry and his wife, Allyson, have been attending Trinity since February of 2016, after moving from Nashville, Tennessee to Westfield for Allyson’s work. Initially, they were just congregants who were looking to serve the Lord alongside the other wonderful members of Trinity. Eventually, Jacob went on to serve as a deacon in the church and took over as interim youth leader in May of 2021, when Trinity’s former youth pastor left to pursue other ministry opportunities.

Realizing that God had been working in his heart over several years, Jacob surrendered to the call of full-time ministry. Through God’s providence, Jacob officially started as Assistant Pastor/Youth Pastor at TBC in September of 2021. The Lord continued to grow Jacob (sometimes gently but often painfully), equipping him for ministry and increasing his capacity through the process of ordination and entering a seminary program.

Jacob was promoted to Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Families in January of 2024, and his primary focus is fostering a culture of deep spiritual growth amongst the membership at TBC. Jacob’s educational background includes a BA in English and Creative Writing from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN (2010), and he is currently a student of Newburgh Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana working toward an MA in Theology (expected to graduate in December of 2024). Future aspirations include another master’s degree in either Christian apologetics and/or certification in biblical counseling. Outside of normal ministry stuff, Jacob loves to pursue creative writing endeavors that glorify the Lord.
