The discussion of trials and our faith continues on from the opening verses. The reason is clear: all Christians will face hardship. Jesus intends for the hardships we faith to be opportunities for us to prove our faith. The passage we look at today is one of great challenge to our perspective of trials and the living out of our beliefs.
