The love of Christ is a simple concept, yet its implications and applications are eternally vast for the lives of believers. Christ was able to turn the cross--an instrument meant for guilt and shame--into His glory. When a person trusts Christ as savior, they take part in this transformative gospel economy and their life begins to change. The distinguishing mark of a follower of Christ is the love they bear for the rest of His followers. Christ showed us this example of love of the Cross, and it is our duty, as believers, to love as He loves.
